When I was a college freshman, I saw the play "The Vagina Monologues" at the Luce Auditorium for the first time. It led me to open my eyes to the oppression of women around the world. Even in the 21st century when men and women can wear the same clothes and have the same jobs, the discrimination and violence still linger. The voices of women in the play, though distraught, are hopeful, witty, and wishful for the oppression to end.

Another Eve Ensler masterpiece is coming to the theater.
